Bill Houston is the owner of Houston Construction Company. He is married to Carol Houston, a REALTOR licensed in SC with Prudential C. Dan Joyner. They have four children - Melanie and her husband Luke, Jon, Michael, and Rhett. He has been a licensed builder in South Carolina for over 25 years. A graduate of Clemson University, he worked in engineering prior to obtaining his building license. Bill is the son of a contractor and worked in construction all of his life. He has a love of homes and designs some of his homes. He has previously developed Glen Laurel Subdivision in Easley with over 60 homes. He is currently developing Greystone Subdivision in Powdersville with over 60 homesites. Cottage Gate is another development he is currently doing which will consist of 19 upscale patio homes in Easley.

Jon Houston , the son of Bill, is also a licensed SC contractor and works with Bill in Houston Construction. A graduate of Francis Marion University, he is also a licensed SC REALTOR with Houston Realty in Spartanburg, SC. Jon also builds houses and does some remodeling.

Houston Construction Company owns grading equipment. With a front end Caterpillar 953, they can do both large jobs and small. They also do bobcat work and bush-hogging.
